We proudly present our first reference in Germany: Bestattungshaus Otten in Gangelt opted for a complete upgrade of its audiovisual infrastructure, fully integrated with the SENTOA platform. Thanks to this integration, Edwin Otten’s team now enjoys unmatched simplicity, flexibility, and professionalism in every ceremony.
With the SENTOA platform, Edwin Otten can now prepare every ceremony remotely. All content – music, photos, texts – is easily collected through the user-friendly family portal and automatically pushed to the ceremony hall via the cloud. Scenario management, tribute videos, and live streaming are fully centralized and real-time. SENTOA is also fully available in German, enabling families to participate intuitively without any technical barriers.
One major issue at Otten was the outdated camera system, which frequently failed during the recording of slideshows or tribute videos. Images flickered or were discolored because the camera was filming the television screen directly. Together with our Belgian AV partner Deltavox, we resolved this with our integrated automatic camera control.
Thanks to the upgrade to a 2-camera setup and smart scenario integration, SENTOA automatically selects the correct camera at the right time. Want to zoom in on the casket while the speaker is still on screen? SENTOA detects the free camera, focuses it, and only switches views with a smooth fade once the framing is perfect. This avoids jerky transitions and ensures a highly professional result – both for livestream and recording.
Thanks to SENTOA’s tribute video module, Bestattungshaus Otten now truly stands out. Families provide their photos easily, and during the ceremony, they are surprised with a beautifully finished, personalized result. The emotional and positive feedback proves that technology can indeed support a warm and meaningful farewell.
