Funeral Centre Verstappen Chooses Full Audiovisual Solution with SENTOA and Deltavox

Funeral Centre Verstappen, active in Beerse, Geel, Turnhout, Kasterlee, and Merksplas, chose a complete audiovisual integration during the construction of their new chapel in Beerse.

Together with integration partner Deltavox, they implemented a future-proof total solution with SENTOA as the central component.

Everything Centralised in the Cloud

Using the SENTOA platform, all ceremony content—from slideshows to scripts and music— is prepared at the head office in Geel or locally in Beerse. The funeral home and offices located opposite the chapel are also fully integrated.

Ceremony preparation is carried out through one cloudbased interface, eliminating USB sticks or manual handling. Everything is automatically synced to the right location.

An Impressive LED Wall

The showpiece is an impressive 6×3 m LED wall in the chapel. To maximise its impact, SENTOA’s smart content engine automatically complements portrait photos with thematic, dynamic backgrounds. This avoids distracting black bars and delivers a visually calming, cohesive display.

This approach not only optimises use of screen real estate but also contributes to a subtle, respectful overall experience perfectly suited to a funeral setting.

Smart AV Infrastructure in Every Space

The audiovisual infrastructure was meticulously designed in collaboration with Deltavox.

The chapel is equipped with powerful Bose MA12 column speakers, complemented by an almost invisible inbuilt subwoofer. Discreet Bose speakers in the reception and coffee rooms provide a balanced, warm sound experience.

These areas are divided into multiple audio zones. With the push of a button, spaces can function separately or together—ideal when using the mobile partition wall. The screens in these rooms also switch automatically—from welcome messages to slideshows or a live livestream of the ceremony. A multifunctional welcome screen in the entrance area switches to chapel mode when capacity is exceeded, allowing overflow guests to follow the service in real time.

From one intuitive interface, Verstappen staff can:

Create slideshows using the integrated music library and themes
Build scenario scripts for each ceremony
Manage livestreams via Sentoa Stream
Control AV zones and visual content
(Soon) also manage digital signage via Sentoa Signage
